The Livestock Development Department has instructed officials to check all pet cat and dog breeding centres, including Bangkok’s Chatuchak Weekend Market 1 and 2, to ensure up-to-standard practices and prevent cruelty to animals, department deputy director-general Somchuan Rattanamangkhalanon said.
